Canadian musician and composer Dylan Heming. Currently living in Toronto at hotel mini-bar prices. A proper bio should likely include a Juno win and a few Canadian Screen Award noms. An orphan of sorts. As a musician, either on stage or within the recording environment, Dylan has worked with Planet Earth, Ron Sexsmith, Gil Goldstein, Holly Cole, Molly Johnson, Jackie Richardson, Marty Ehrlich, Kevin Breit, Royal Wood, Matt Dusk, The James Brown Band – and many others – as well as sharing live shows with Maceo Parker, Bettye Lavette, Stephen Page, Joey DeFrancesco, and others.

An orphan of sorts. Still love that Powerslave artwork. Swam in a pond of film and tv scoring for a long time. Developed a wide range of musical works designed for media content. Recent placements have included BASKETBALL: A LOVE STORY [ESPN], NAKED AND AFRAID [DISCOVERY], and OPRAH: WHERE ARE THEY NOW? [OWN].

Royal Conservatory drop out, lovely as the building is. Produced imaginative and engaging score for some of Canadian television’s most decorated productions for such as CALL ME FITZ (7 Gemini’s, 5 Canadian Screen Awards), and LESS THAN KIND (5 Gemini’s, 9 Canadian Comedy Awards). Other recent work includes the Emmy nominated WILD THINGS WITH DOMINIC MONAGHAN (OLN/BBC) , MOTHER UP! (starring Eva Longoria), and Vincenzo Natali’s sci-fi thriller SPLICE. And some of the most successful non-scripted programs in the US including AMERICAN IDOL, HELLS KITCHEN, DIRTY JOBS, AMERICAN CHOPPER, BIG BROTHER, and PAWN STARS.

Probably should have become a bass player. Remember a day when I took a Rhodes on a public bus to a gig. Writing for the world of documentary, Dylan worked on the score for THE MISSING TOURIST [CBC], WHEN DREAMS TAKE FLIGHT (CBC). Other tracks have accompanied news productions such as E! NEWS DAILY, ON THE CASE WITH PAULA ZAHN, THE FIFTH ESTATE, CBC NEWS NOW and Larry Kings UNTHINKABLE for CNN. Band days are somewhat faded out but not all lost.
